| Ready for the approach |
Jacob had swimming lessons for two weeks at Crawfish Aquatics. I chose the place for two reasons: 1.) Great recommendations/reviews by a few people I know and 2) the Crawfish. With Jacob obsessed with crawfish and crabs right now, I knew I'd get more traction with that...I was right.
Every day at 4:00, I had to leave work to pick up Jacob at school and get him in his swimsuit before leaving school. Jacob thought he was Mr. It walking down the hall in his swim gear (of course he had his goggles on too) and his crocs. He would alert everyone he passed that he was on his way to Crawfish "Quatics."

When we got there the first day, he was reluctant until he saw the big slides outside the building. He said, "Okay, Momma, I'll go to swimming school. I'll be okay." When he discovered the slides weren't actually part of the lessons, he was upset. Then, when he learned that there were no water guns and couldn't just jump in the pool and swim, major disappointment. So, after a few days of coaxing and then of course bribing with slide tokens (you had to buy a trip down the slide), he kept asking to go back.

Lessons were closed to mommies and daddies until the last day when all parents (and some other family members) herded into the indoor pool (it was raining that day) with their cameras. We were finally able to watch the last day of lessons. I was no exception sporting my camera around my neck and my iphone extended in front of me. Either I was a tourist, or a proud momma! I was only able to get one video of him swimming (the nerve of some parents getting in my way to video my child!).

I also have attached two videos of Jacob enjoying the Big Slide:
Day 1 - apprehension
Day 2 - excitement
