Ka-Lunch - We have no idea what this means. I'm not sure he even knows. He has used this as a noun, verb and an adjective. Clearly, it has nothing to do with the meal served in the middle of the day. Every time he says it, he thinks he is hysterical.
O-Fries - Typically refers to French Fries. However, if any food is shaped like a French Fry, it will have this term as a suffix.
Example: Joseph, do you want some Chicken O-Fries?
Laundry School - The little room that contained our washer and dryer in the aparment was designated as his pretend school. He would put his backpack
("packpack") on his shoulders, kiss his mom good-bye and say he is headed to Laundry School. Now that we are in the house, he will designate any area (ie, pantry, bedroom, couch) in the house as his "Laundry School."
Example: While I am in the middle of a task, Joseph wants to show me anything and everything. I will nod in agreement while maintaining focus on the said task. Joseph will then direct me to look at him with my face.
Floating - objects that are blowing with/in wind.
Example: Mom, your hair is floating. The kite is floating. The leaves are floating.
Sprinkle eggs - scrambled eggs
Strap - twist tie from bread
Big - refers to size, volume (water in tub) or sound (loud).
Example: Mom, can you make the water big?
