Jacob, Joseph and I spent Halloween together…all day long! We first went to Jacob’s school so he could “Trick-or-Treat” with his friends.
Jacob was excited to dress up as a Pittsburgh Steelers football player since we had just watched the Steelers on TV the night before. He thought he was super cool by looking EXACTLY like the players. Jacob got to pick what number he wanted to wear on his jersey, so he picked 95, Lightning McQueen’s number of course! After getting way too much candy, the boys and I went home for a bit before heading down the highway.
In LaPlace, we visited with Grammy, Gregory, Oma and Opa. Jacob loved being their center of attention for a change since Joseph was inside with me. His favorite part of the evening, aside from getting even more candy, was riding in “Oma’s Jeep” (aka, the golf cart). Although he did have fun when Opa tried to teach Jacob how to do push-ups!
After a busy day, Jacob told me that he was ready to go home and go to bed. He couldn’t have been too tired because he woke up the next morning, put on his helmet and wanted to know when he can go “Trick-or-Treating” again. Try explaining the concept of a year to that one!
