Joseph had his four-month check-up on the 12th and got another round of shots! Boo! Joseph doesn't do too well with shots (who would?) and cries all day long afterwards. So, any time we have to get shots, my day is devoted to holding him and attempting to comfort him. I know I'm not supposed to compare the two boys, but I cannot help but look at their growth together. Although many family members contributed their opinions as to how big Joseph is, all were surprised to hear that the boys are the same! At four months, Jacob weighed 20 lbs, 6 oz, 27" long, and his head was 16 1/2". At four months, Joseph weighs 20 lbs, 4 oz, 27" long, and his head is 16 3/4".
He got through his inspections by Dr. Bankston and even got his passing grade into the next level of eating...baby food. So, while we are still trying to master how to eat from a spoon, I am making my shopping list of Baby Food to get in the next few days.
