One thing that both boys definitely have in common...they love to eat! And they love telling their mother to feed them! The first thing Jacob is supposed to do as soon as he walks through the door is kiss his momma. I also have to have a small conversation about his day. Once that conversation is over, he's free to play with his toys, go outside, etc. To speed up this exchange, Jacob now comes through the door exclaiming, "Momma, I had a good day...I took a good nap...William was in time-out....Sydney pushed me in my belly." He kisses me, then wants to know what's for dinner. After he understands that there will be a meal in the near future, he then finds comfort with his toys/playing outside.
Joseph is no different. He is on a good schedule and we are eating cereal twice a day now. When he's hungry, he lets me know either by yelling at me or by eating my face. Jacob used to eat my face too, but not as aggressive as his brother is. We finally got a video of the way Joseph communicates with me:
